Following the request by the Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) region at its meeting held in Kingston, Jamaica, in March 2010 to meet in early 2011 to prepare for the first meeting of the Open-ended Working Group (OEWG), UNITAR in conjunction with

During the two day training the participants learned how to remain positive and spread positivity in their team as well as how to tackle challenges with a positive attitude.

17 June 2011, Geneva, Switzerland. Recently MDP trained eleven Geneva based diplomats on Conference Diplomacy. The two day workshop “Introduction on Conference Diplomacy” is intended to familiarize junior diplomats with the world of conference diplomacy and help them overcome obstacles.
14-17 June 2011, Tokyo, Japan. The inaugural UNITAR Diplomatic Training Series Session took place at United Nations University in Tokyo between June 14 and 17 2011. Attended by 19 diplomats resident in Japan, representing 17 nations, the programme examined the impact of culture on the frames of reference and working styles of those involved in multilateral environments.
