9 October 2025, Bangkok, Thailand - The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) have launched the second phase of the Safe Mobility 4 All & 4 Life (SM4A4L) programme in FIA Region II (Asia-Pacific), with support from the FIA Foundation.

6 October 2025, San Francisco, USA – On 19 August 2025, the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) took part in the Global Entrepreneur Leadership and Youth Leadership Round Table, hosted in the San Francisco Bay Area by Prosperity Alliance Singapore (PASG). UNITAR delivered a keynote speech with PASG and the Brotherhood Cup Foundation, a partner of Prosperity Alliance Singapore based in the Bay Area. The event brought together around 150 participants across generations and sectors to explore innovative solutions for global challenges, highlighting youth leadership, sustainable development and cross-sector collaboration.

5 November 2025, Malaga, Spain — The Shanghai Arbitration Commission (SHAC), in collaboration with the City of Málaga, the University of Málaga, and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), announced a landmark agreement to strengthen collaboration in international arbitration, trade, and sustainable development. The agreement was formalised during the inauguration of the SHAC European Hub in Malaga, positioning the city as a key European centre linking Shanghai and Europe in commercial dispute resolution and global cooperation.

H.E. Mr Luis Gallegos is a distinguished diplomat who has represented Ecuador in several countries, including Australia, El Salvador, and the United States.
