    Ethiopia and UN CC:Learn have developed the guideline 'Integrating Climate Change into the Ethiopian Curriculum - An Annotated Guideline for Curriculum Developers' which was accepted into the current curriculum reform process. As next steps, the partnership will  look at training of textbook authors on developing climate change content for climate change carrier subjects and climate change teaching in early 2020.

UN CC:Learn and Malawi launched a joint project on Climate Change Learning Strategy. The National Planning Workshop contributed to the review of the 2013 National Climate Change Learning Strategy and served as a means to foment dialogue between key stakeholders in Malawi and other partner countries.

The United Nations Institute for Research and Training (UNITAR) New York Office has launched a training course for delegates of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Mission to the United Nations entitled, “Core Diplomatic Training for United Arab Emirates Diplomatic Corps.” 
This year, UNITAR has the pleasure to present its Executive Swiss Alps Retreat on Leadership and Excellence. This retreat is part of a series and will aim to bring together participants from both the public and private sectors, to generate synergies and opportunities for learning and mutual engagement. Leadership skills are essential to building new and strategic, personal and professional development trajectories, and in times of change must be prioritized.
19-21 November 2018, Brussels, Belgium – UNITAR hosted the Annual Meeting of its Network of Affiliated International Training Centres for Authorities and Leaders (CIFAL) in Brussels and in Antwerp, Belgium.
