The 2011 edition attracted participants from 10 different countries, essentially disaster managers working for national governments, UN organizations and NGOs. 2021年2月26日・広島 ― 国連ユニタール広島事務所と国連ユニタール協会は、第9回 Ideas That Matterシリーズ「日本のジェンダー感覚－リーダーシップを目指して」の公開セミナーを3月8日に開催します。より良い意思決定、政策立案、法整備などのためには、女性の視点や経験、スキルが欠かせません。持続可能な開発目標（SDGs）の目標５「ジェンダーの平等の実現」の中に、「政治、経済、公共分野でのあらゆるレベルの意思決定において、完全かつ効果的な女性の参画及び平等なリーダーシップの機会を確保する」とあります。
しかしながら、世界経済フォーラム（WEF）が発表した「ジェンダーギャップ指数2020」によると、日本は153か国中121位という結果でした。この不名誉な結果の大きな要因は、政治・経済分野における大臣・管理職レベルの女性割合の低さにあります。
本セミナーでは、学術界やNPOで要職を歴任されてきた広島経済大学の上田みどり名誉教授にご自身の経験を共有していただくとともに、女性と男性がともにリーダーシップをとっていく社会に向けた展望を探ります。

In August 2021, Crowd4SDG launched the second GEAR Cycle of the project. This year’s GEAR Cycle focuses on two Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – SDG 13 on Climate Change and SDG 5 on Gender Equality.

スポーツをすることには多くの利点があります。特に紛争国に住む女性にとって自尊心を高め社会参画を促進し、既存のジェンダー規範を疑問視し、リーダーとして活躍する機会を与えるなどスポーツを経験することによる多くの潜在的な利点が挙げられます[1]。本研修ではアフガニスタン女子代表サッカーチームのサッカースキルおよび個々人の能力強化を通じてアフガニスタンの発展に寄与することを目指しました。
