Crowd4SDG is a research project promoting citizen science initiatives with a focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Citizen science is a significant resource as it can both produce social innovation to achieve the SDGs and provide non-traditional data to track the progress made towards them. On 13 June 2023, UNITAR signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Hiroshima Corporation for Higher Education (HCHE) in charge of managing Eikei University of Hiroshima.
The MOU will allow UNITAR to support students of Eikei University of Hiroshima with their curriculum and Project-Based Learning (PBL) in tackling real-world issues.
