アンジュヴィオレ広島と国連ユニタール広島事務所の協力関係は2015年にさかのぼります。両者は、アフガニスタン女子代表サッカー選手のリーダーシップ、チームワークやコミュニケーション能力向上を目的とした研修・親善試合の開催を通じて協力を深めてきました。アフガニスタン女子代表サッカー選手は原爆投下後の廃墟から復興を遂げ、平和都市へと変貌を遂げた広島の歴史について学び、平和記念公園で献花もしました。, 選手たちは広島文教女子大学付属高等学校の生徒との文化交流を通じて着物の着付け、茶道や弓道など日本の文化にも触れました。研修最大のハイライトは、多くの広島県民に愛されているアンジュヴィオレ広島との親善試合でした。2017年にも研修が開催され、アンジュヴィオレ広島との更なる関係強化につながりました。
