2022年6月・広島 - 持続可能な開発目標（SDGs）との関連付けを探すだけに終わらず、SDGsの視点を生かして自分たちの方針や政策をアップデートすることが求められている、と慶應義塾大学大学院特任助教で国連大学サステイナビリティ高等研究所研究員の高木超さんは語る。
2020年から国連ユニタール広島青少年大使プログラムの講師を務め、SDGsに関するアドバイザーとしても活躍する高木さん。2030年までに目標を達成するためのSDGsの「行動の10年」に入り、日本でもかつてない機運を感じる一方、まだ「知る」段階を目指したプログラムが多いとも思う。

プロバスケットボールチームを運営する株式会社広島ドラゴンフライズと国連ユニタールは、ともに持続可能な開発目標（SDGs）達成に貢献するため、協力覚書を締結しました。
4月7日に署名式を実施し、広島ドラゴンフライズの浦伸嘉代表取締役社長、ユニタール持続可能な繁栄局長兼広島事務所長の隈元美穂子が今後の協力を確認しました。
, 2022年4月7日・広島 ― ドラゴンフライズは、青少年育成などを目的とする「バスケでつながる風景プロジェクト」をはじめ、スポーツを通じてSDGsに取り組んでいます。国連ユニタール持続可能な繁栄局及び広島事務所は、主に開発途上国の人々を対象とした研修プログラムにより同目標のための働き掛けを行っています。
この両者が、それぞれの強みを生かして、①スポーツを通じた平和構築、②持続可能な開発、③格差・不平等の是正、④女性や青少年のエンパワーメントの4つのテーマに基づき、協働して活動することを確認した覚書となります。

2024年10月31日、広島 - 国連訓練調査研究所（ユニタール）はこのほど、国立大学法人広島大学と「平和構築・開発におけるグローバル人材育成事業」実施協力のための合意文書を締結いたしました（署名者：越智光夫広島大学長、ニキル・セス国連事務次長補兼ユニタール総代表）。本事業は、平和構築や開発分野の人材育成を主眼として、外務省が実施するもので、今年度より広島大学が受託し、国連ユニタールと連携して事業を行います。, プライマリー・コース平和構築・開発分野で今後キャリアを形成していく意志を持つ日本人および外国人約20名を対象に、4週間の国内研修（ブレンデッド学習）と1年間の海外派遣（日本人のみ対象、国連ボランティア計画により実施）から成るプログラムを提供します。国内研修は、2025年1-2月に東京と広島で開催予定です。同分野の現場で求められる実践的な理解の促進や、国際機関での就業に必要となる知識の獲得・業務遂行能力の向上を目的とします。外国人研修員については、バングラデシュ、フィジー、エルサルバドル、ウクライナ、レバノン、パレスチナ、マリ、南スーダン、ウガンダ、およびアフリカ連合委員会（AUC）から募集しています。本コースの詳細については、下記の広島大学ウェブサイトをご覧ください。プライマリー・コース（日本人研修員募集）プライマリー・コース（外国人...
