As the inaugural event in the Dynamic Skills Enhancement Workshop Series, this in-person workshop aims to equip peacebuilding practitioners with the skills needed to address the intersection of climate change and conflict. The focus will be on enhancing understanding of climate-related security risks, addressing these risks during conflict prevention and peacebuilding, and fostering collaborative approaches to build sustainable peace.

Conflict prevention has emerged as a cornerstone of the United Nations' New Agenda for Peace, redefining the paradigm of training and development to prioritize proactive measures over reactive responses.
