Introduction to the 2030 Agenda: A New Agenda for a Sustainable World
The MOOC on “Introduction to the 2030 Agenda: A New Agenda for a Sustainable World” is designed to improve general awareness about the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals for policy-makers and the general public, especially youth. Participants can follow the course at their own pace, and can earn a certificate provided if they have met the certification requirements.
The course is offered in English and Spanish, two to three times a year

Mainstreaming the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development
The e-tutorial provides an in-depth and wide-ranging guidance on how to mainstream the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development into each national strategies and policies. It is based on the UN Development Group’s (UNDG) Reference Guide "Mainstreaming the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development". Case studies introduce innovative examples of how some countries have begun to develop and use relevant tools, and activities offer an opportunity to gain a better understanding and useful skills. Although this training tool has been primarily designed for government officials and development practitioners, it is also publicly available.

E-course: Strengthening Stakeholder Engagement for the Implementation and Review of the 2030 Agenda
This e-learning course is developed jointly by UNITAR and Division for Sustainable Development Goals of UN Department for Economic and Social Affairs (UNESA). The main objective of this e-learning course is to enhance the knowledge and skills of government officers to put in place institutional arrangements, systems and processes to ensure the participation of key stakeholders in national SDG reviews. The course consists of three online modules and is complemented by webinars providing course participants with a unique opportunity to learn directly from government officials from the former Voluntary National Review (VNR) countries and UN Secretariat representatives. The course is offered once a year.

E-courses: Governance of data ecosystems for monitoring the SDGs
This new facilitated e-learning course is being developed jointly with the UN Statistics Division. The course aims to strengthen statistical capacities of governmental officials. It provides a detailed overview of principles of official statistics, scrutinizes institutional arrangements of data ecosystems and data value chain needed to ensure better-governed ecosystems for monitoring the SDGs. Hands-on exercises using the StaTact tool will help participants immediately apply the acquired knowledge with timely feedback of the facilitator
The course is run as a facilitated course for specific target groups. It will also be delivered as a massive open online course as of second quarter of 2019.
Increasing data literacy for evidence-based policies in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda
Agenda 2030 necessitates an unprecedented amount of fit-for-purpose data to ensure accurate monitoring and reporting on the SDGs, and to uptake evidence-based actions towards achieving the Goals. At the same time, the question is whether policy-makers are ready for this surge of data and generally equipped with necessary statistical skills for adequate use of data. To address this, UNITAR with support from donors will be developing an e-learning course aiming to increase data literacy among policy and decision-makers to promote and ensure sound and evidence-based policies in support of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.

Introductory course to system dynamics for policy coherence around SDGs
This facilitated e-learning course is being developed jointly with the Division for Sustainable Development Goals of UNDESA. The course is introductory to the system dynamics highlighting the design and implementation of holistic policies and integrated approaches across the entire spectrum of the SDGs.
The course will be available in the first quarter of 2019.
