UNITAR has joined the Nairobi Framework initiative aimed at assisting developing countries especially those in sub-Saharan Africa, to improve their level of participation in the Clean Development Mechanism. (CDM)

5-6 July 2016, Quito, Ecuador - UNITAR’s Decentralized Cooperation Programme (DCP) in collaboration with the Government of Ecuador hosted the second series of webinars aimed to raise awareness of key topics related to the United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development (Habitat III). 330 participants from Ecuador and Latin American countries joined the webinars on 5 and 6 July to learn about Urban Legislation and Municipal Finance.
