Women in Afghanistan can apply to the Leading Inclusive 4IR: Empowering Women in Afghanistan for the Future of Work through Digital Reskilling programme until 20 April 2022.
Participants will learn to transform their entrepreneurial ideas into digital products to empower others and address issues in their communities.
The 6-week online course in English will start 29 April. It is free of charge and open to Afghan women with a deep interest in digital technologies.

On 22 August 2024, the “Leader for a Free and Open Indo-Pacific: Sea and Human Security” programme concluded its first phase with a final webinar. This first phase featured asynchronous online learning on the EdApp platform and four webinars, from 20 June to 22 August. Phase 2 of the training programme will be in-person workshops, to be held in Jakarta (Asian cohort, 10-20 September) and in Nadi (Pacific cohort, 1-10 October), for the 80 top performers from each cohort (160 total). The United Nations Plan of Action to safeguard religious sites is a framework for action containing concrete recommendations for all relevant stakeholders to better prepare, prevent and respond to attacks against religious sites.
One of the main recommendations of the Plan is the development of a mapping of religious sites around the world, which will capture the universality of religious sites and contribute to fostering respect and understanding of their significance for individuals and communities in every continent.
