2021年10月6日・広島 – 国連ユニタール持続可能な繁栄局・広島事務所が約20年間にわたって人材育成を通じた支援を提供してきたアフガニスタンは今、大きな変化の時にあり、多くの人々が混乱の中で不安を抱えています。現地からの声に少しでも寄り添える方法はないかと、クラウドファンディングにより皆様のお力をお借りして、経済的なレジリエンス（回復力）を身に付ける新たな研修コースの開発・提供をしたいと考えています。 教育や就労の機会が制限されるのではないかと懸念するアフガニスタンの女性たちのために、人権が脅かされないよう積極的に声を挙げていくとともに、変化の渦中においてもしなやかにレジリエンスを育み発揮していけるよう、ニーズに即した短期的なプログラムを届けたいのです。「もっと学びたい」「学び続けたい」という女性たちの声に、皆様のご支援により、答えさせていただけませんか。

Nearly 20 diplomats and government officials from Asian countries completed the UNITAR Hiroshima Nuclear Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Training Programme, held 13-18 February 2023. The diplomats updated their understanding of the global nuclear debate and met young activists to learn about their initiatives for a nuclear-free world. The programme’s past two cycles were run virtually due to COVID-19-related restrictions. Learning about nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation in the symbolic city of Hiroshima offered participants a deep learning experience.

2015年9月16－21日の日程で国連ユニタール広島事務所は米国国際開発援助庁（US AID）女性開発プロジェクトと中国新聞共催で国連ユニタール アフガニスタン女子代表サッカーチームのリーダーシップとコミュニケーション能力向上研修を実施しました。
スポーツをすることには多くの利点があります。特に紛争国に住む女性にとって自尊心を高め社会参画を促進し、既存のジェンダー規範を疑問視し、リーダーとして活躍する機会を与えるなどスポーツを経験することによる多くの潜在的な利点が挙げられます[1]。本研修ではアフガニスタン女子代表サッカーチームのサッカースキルおよび個々人の能力強化を通じてアフガニスタンの発展に寄与することを目指しました。
リーダーシップスキル、チームワーク向上、コミュニケーション手法やスポーツ心理学などアフガニスタン女子代表サッカーチームのニーズに沿った研修を広島で実施しました。様々なトレーニングやコーチング手法の成功事例や選手としての課題やリーダーシップを磨く機会などについてスポーツ選手との対談を通じて学びました。また、9月20にエディオンスタジアムで開催されたアンジュビオレ広島との親善試合では懸命にプレーしました。
