2021年6月14日・広島 ― 国連ユニタール持続可能な繫栄局の諮問委員会が、2021年6月10日にオンラインで開催されました。諮問委員のMichael A. Fors氏、Linda A. Hill氏、 Hans Jurgen Hoyer氏、 Ashleigh Owens氏、Jos Verbeek氏と、国連ユニタールのニキル・セス総代表、持続可能な繁栄局の隈元美穂子局長が集まり、同局の2020年の成果と今後の目標について話し合いました。
Michael Fors氏は、ユニタールの研修のオンライン化についてこのように述べました。
国連ユニタールのチームが、迅速かつ臨機応変にオンライン研修に切り替えたことは大いに評価に値する。簡単に見えるようで、様々な苦労があったと思います。
この速やかな切り替えにより、過去1年間でユニタールの研修参加者は4倍に増えたとセス代表は強調。国連ユニタール持続可能な繫栄局は、これを基に、今後も社会の中で最も取り残されている人々の格差解消のため、取り組んで参ります。目標達成の鍵となるのは、パートナーシップです。

The programme theme will be centred around nuclear disarmament and peacebuilding. The programme will take place mainly at the UNITAR Hiroshima Office and partially online, from 30 June to 30 August 2024.
