2023年は、ユニタール創立60周年・広島事務所設立20周年の節目となる、我々にとって格別な一年となりました。日本とジュネーブで、ユニタール諮問委員会メンバー、パートナー、研修修了生、サポーターと共に多くのイベントを行いました。
たくさんの素晴らしい思い出とともに一年を締めくくるにあたり、20年先も私たちがより持続可能で、平和で、繁栄した社会で暮らせるよう、引き続き世界に貢献していく努力を続けます。

15 March 2016, Geneva, Switzerland - The 6th UN CC:Learn Annual Meeting took place from 23rd to 25th February 2016, in Geneva, Switzerland. It brought together representatives of 8 partner countries and 16 UN agencies. Participating agencies included: the CEB Secretariat, FAO, ILO, IMO, UNDP, UNECA, UNEP, UNESCO, the UNFCCC Secretariat, UN-Habitat, UNICEF, UNITAR, UNSSC, WHO, WMO, and the World Bank. Fega Ayu Pangestika, a disaster management analyst from Indonesia, became interested in disaster response after observing how her grandfather reacted during the 2010 Mount Merapi eruption. She noticed that spiritual leaders influenced people's actions during the crisis, prompting her to explore more culturally sensitive disaster management strategies. The year 2023 was a very special and exciting one for the UNITAR Division for Prosperity, as we celebrated not only the 60th anniversary of UNITAR but also the 20th of the Hiroshima Office, which is a part of the Division for Prosperity.
