Carlos Tarazona is a senior evaluation officer at FAO where he is responsible for leading major evaluations. He has more than 20 years of experience in the evaluation of agricultural and rural development programs including capacity development initiatives. Before joining FAO, Carlos served as an evaluation officer at the International Atomic Energy Agency and managed the Independent External Evaluation of FAO. Carlos holds a master’s degree in international agriculture from Larenstein University in the Netherlands and Reading University in the United Kingdom.

Adriana E. Abdenur is co-President of the Global Fund for a New Economy (GFNE). Between 2023 and 2025 she was Special Advisor in international affairs in the office of President Lula, working on the president's view of the G20, BRICS and COPs. A Brazilian policymaker and scholar, she co-founded Plataforma CIPÓ, a think tank headquartered in Rio de Janeiro. Dr Abdenur earned a Ph.D. from Princeton University and an AB from Harvard University and has published widely on global governance and sustainable development. She lives in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
On 13-15 November 2018, the Togolese Public Administration School (ENA), UNITAR and UNDP held a national workshop aimed at strengthening the capacities of senior civil servants to lead the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and SDGs.
