国連ユニタール広島事務所ではアフガニスタンの経済省と商業産業省の代表20人に国連開発計画(UNDP)アフガニスタン事務所とAfghanistan Civil Service Institute(ACSI)協力のもとグリーンエコノミー導入に関する研修を実施しました。研修生は首都カブールの公務員と州の局長などを含み、各自の所属機関で実施可能な政策に焦点をあてて議論しました。
2014年5月20~26日の日程でグリーンエコノミーの理論および利点や利害関係者への啓発活動の手法などについて学びました。世界各国で経済、社会や環境面での持続可能性を考慮した新たな開発スタイルの模索が始まっている中、グリーンエコノミーの概念は近年国際社会から大きな注目を集めています。研修生はグリーンエコノミーの概念や低炭素で効率的に資源を利用し、誰も排除しないインクルーシブな社会の実現に向けた国際的、地域的、国別またはセクター別の課題やチャンスについて議論しました。
