本研修では、イラク国内のニーズや優先事項に重点を置き、より実践力のあるリーダーとなり、効果的な取り組みや起業（社会起業、ビジネス起業）を確立することを目的に、イラク国内青年層の知識、スキル、意識の向上に向けた方法に焦点を与える１２ヶ月の研修に衣を変えます。
社会起業は常に重要視されますが、発展の最中にあるイラクにとって、起業によって実際に利益を得ることは、青年層の起業に良い刺激を与えるという点で大変重要です。地域の活性化に寄与する若者グループの能力向上は、新しい起業の機会を促進するばかりでなく、将来の起業家のためのロールモデルを作ることに繋がります。これを目的に、新たに衣を変えたイラク奨学プログラムは、起業家能力の育成の向上を図るとともに、事業を継続して成功させるシリアルアントレプレナーに近づく機会を提供します。これにより起業のスタートアップを促進し、より多くの繋がりを生み出す起業のエコシステムを支えます。
