たくさんの素晴らしい思い出とともに一年を締めくくるにあたり、20年先も私たちがより持続可能で、平和で、繁栄した社会で暮らせるよう、引き続き世界に貢献していく努力を続けます。

Fega Ayu Pangestika, a disaster management analyst from Indonesia, became interested in disaster response after observing how her grandfather reacted during the 2010 Mount Merapi eruption. She noticed that spiritual leaders influenced people's actions during the crisis, prompting her to explore more culturally sensitive disaster management strategies. The year 2023 was a very special and exciting one for the UNITAR Division for Prosperity, as we celebrated not only the 60th anniversary of UNITAR but also the 20th of the Hiroshima Office, which is a part of the Division for Prosperity.
