Cynthia, who studied agriculture and technology for her undergraduate degree, quit her job as a salesperson in 2022 to establish an agribusiness specializing in irrigation technology and greenhouse installation.

Global trade in agricultural products has grown almost three-fold in value terms over the past decade with some regions increasing net exports and others increasing net imports. Considering the importance of food imports for food security and the role of exports in generating incomes, trade constitutes an essential component of most countries’ development strategies, including the post-Soviet countries. An Independent Evaluation of UNOSAT Rapid Mapping Service (RMS) was published in July 2018. Using a mixed methods approach, it was the first independent evaluation of the Rapid Mapping Service since its inception in 2003. An independent evaluation of the Afghanistan Fellowship Programme (AFP) was published in July 2018, assessing the AFP’s performance over the 2014 – 2017 Fellowship cycles.
