3 March 2020, Geneva, Switzerland - UNITAR and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) recently signed an agreement to re-run its joint online course on Trade, Food Security and Nutrition to be delivered in Russian language for officials across Europe and Central Asia. On 13 June 2023, UNITAR signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Hiroshima Corporation for Higher Education (HCHE) in charge of managing Eikei University of Hiroshima.
The MOU will allow UNITAR to support students of Eikei University of Hiroshima with their curriculum and Project-Based Learning (PBL) in tackling real-world issues.
UNITAR will work together with HCHE/Eikei University of Hiroshima to advance human resources development for youth to effectively address and overcome pressing global challenges.

スポーツをすることには多くの利点があります。特に紛争国に住む女性にとって自尊心を高め社会参画を促進し、既存のジェンダー規範を疑問視し、リーダーとして活躍する機会を与えるなどスポーツを経験することによる多くの潜在的な利点が挙げられます[1]。本研修ではアフガニスタン女子代表サッカーチームのサッカースキルおよび個々人の能力強化を通じてアフガニスタンの発展に寄与することを目指しました。
