July 2011, Benghazi, Libya – ACTED and UNOSAT have expanded their cooperation by joining forces in the area of humanitarian assessment in the field. Finalizing a series of successful negotiations between UNITAR, the Special Self-Governing Province of Jeju and the International Peace Foundation (IPF) – started mid 2009 – M. Carlos Lopes, Executive Director of UNITAR, will be visiting the island of Jeju (Republic of South Korea) from March 30th to March 31th.
