UNITAR is pleased to announce the opening of the registrations for the next English session of the Innovative Collaboration for Development course (ICfD), an e-learning course on Social media and Web 2.0 tools for development. The course will take place between 3rd March and 2nd May 2014.

国連ユニタール広島事務所は世界遺産のニーズに基づき「世界遺産の管理と保全に関する研修」を15年間してきました。本研修は2003年に開始し、当初は世界遺産の管理と保全の成功事例に焦点をあてて研修を行いました。その後世界遺産推薦書の効果的な作成に必要なスキルや知識を学ぶ研修に移行しました。書類作成の複雑な要件を理解するのには知識とそれなりの費用が必要です。書類作成担当者のスキルアップは非常に価値のある投資であり、長期的には時間と費用両方の節約につながります。
国連ユニタール広島事務所はユネスコ世界遺産センターや諮問機関と共同で研修を実施し、2つの世界遺産がある広島で研修を行ってきました。毎年5日間にわたる研修の中で世界遺産の具体的な推薦過程や要件を学び、専門家の知見と経験を活かし成功事例やケーススタディなどのノウハウや意見交換を行ってきました。, 世界遺産リストへの登録には包括的かつ効果的な推薦書の作成が重要となります。そのためには世界遺産条約やユネスコの世界遺産条約履行のための作業指針の理解を深め、世界遺産推薦準備マニュアルを参考文献としながら研修を進めていきます。本研修では講師が説明を行い、実践的な演習を用いた対話型の研修手法を通じて下記項目の理解を深めていきます。

The evaluation analysed the first of three phases of this project (2012-2015). It has found that the starting assumption (the improvement of knowledge and competency will allow for a more sustainable and targeted utilisation of the water resource) is still pertinent.
