3 May 2019, Nadi, Fiji - Following its application by 16 countries, including Caribbean Small Island Developing States, StaTact has been successfully introduced to SIDS coutnries in the Asia-Pacific region during regional workshops that ran from 23 April to 3 May 2019 in Sydney, Australia, and Nadi, Fiji.

30 April 2019, Geneva, Switzerland – The Division for Multilateral Diplomacy (DMD) of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in collaboration with the Kuwait Anti-Corruption Authority (NAZAHA) successfully hosted a 4-day workshop on Leadership and Anti-Corruption in Kuwait City, from 24th to 27th of March 2019.
29 April 2019, Geneva, Switzerland – The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and the Arab Gulf Program for Development’s (AGFUND) are partnering to promote financial inclusion through training activities across Africa, assisting ongoing programs, and supporting microfinance banks throughout the Middle East. Additionally, they will join forces to host the 8th AGFUND Development Forum on the 8th of October 2019, at the Palais des Nations.
25-26 April 2019, Shanghai, China - The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and its International Training Centre for Authorities and Leaders in Shanghai (CIFAL Shanghai) in collaboration with the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS), Tongji University and AB InBev, hosted the two-day “Road Safety and Digital Innovation: Asia-Pacific Conference” in Shanghai, with a focus on using innovative solutions to address road safety issues.
24 - 26 April 2019, Nairobi, Kenya – In the framework of the three years Memorandum of Understanding signed between UNITAR and the Kenyan Foreign Service Academy, UNITAR’s Division for Multilateral Diplomacy implemented a three-day training workshop on Conference Diplomacy and Multilateral Negotiations at the United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON).
25 April 2019, Atlanta, United States - The International Training Centre for Authorities and Leaders in Atlanta (CIFAL Atlanta) jointly with the International Human Trafficking Institute (IHTI) and the Department of Health Promotion & Physical Education at Kennesaw State University held a one-day seminar on Human Trafficking Awareness. This training was an opportunity to educate Kennesaw State University faculty, staff and students about all forms of human trafficking in the Atlanta area and surrounding regions as well as discuss signs for identifying trafficking in the local communities. 
24 technical experts from the government and academic institutions in Uganda successfully completed a one-week course in the use of Earth observations (EO) and geographic information system (GIS) for hazard assessment, delivered by UNOSAT from 25 to 29 March 2019 in Kampala, Uganda. When it comes to GIS technical training, the trend towards a more balanced gender ratio has been remarkably harder to achieve; however, this learning event had over 50 percentages of female participants.
