From 21 to 23 September, UNITAR in cooperation with the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie and the African Union implemented a training workshop in Addis Ababa to the benefit of diplomats accredited to the African Union as well as staff members of the African Union Commission. Some thirty participants took part in this training event that was delivered in French. The workshop was designed to help participants to improve their skills in public speaking in a multilateral context and to provide them with techniques to maximize the impact of their speech. Similar to other UNITAR skills development workshops, the course included a simulation exercise and videos’ analysis. This training was supported by the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie and the African Union.
