CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) featured UNOSAT map on Pakistan flood in its CERN Bulletin (number 40 – 41) and Mr. Einar Bjorgo, Humanitarian Task Manager at UNOSAT was interviewed, explaining UNOSAT involvement in supporting the humanitarian workers from collecting raw satellite images to mapping the damage caused by the floods.  According to Mr. Bjorgo, UNOSAT was not only involved from the beginning, but will stay long after the emergency phase is fading.
