6 March 2024, New York, United States - UNITAR NYO partnered with Poseidon AI to deliver an important seminar entitled, Blue Revolution 2.0: Harnessing Deep Tech for Sustainable Development: Panel on Deep Tech Innovations for Sustainable Development in Blue Economies. The event brought together an impressive set of panellists representing the private sector, tech, academia, and government. Mr Michael Jacobs, Sustainability & Social Innovation Leader, IBM, Mr Norberto Chingcuanco, FeedMix Specialist Inc., Ms Negin Nobarianasl, Aachen University, and Dr Amaj Rahimi, Poseidon-AI, spoke about Deep Technology Innovations, moderated by Ms Ashley Bernhard, Haven Hill.

Afterwards, Ms Carmen San Segundo, IBM, moderated the second-panel discussion on Advancing Sustainable Development in Blue Economies: Innovations Aligned with the SDGs. This panel heard from Mr Denzil Roberts, Ministry of Agriculture of Guyana, Mr Luis Avila, EcoShrimp, Ms Hiroko Muraki Gottlieb, Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, Dr Francois Bailet, DOALOS, and Ms Jully Merino Carela, IBM.

The event concluded with remarks from Mr Marco Suazo, Head of Office, UNITAR NY and Dr Amaj Rahimi-Midani, Founder and CEO, Poseidon-AI. Panelists and participants then discussed and networked over handcrafted small bites prepared by Massi Fudazi of Massi Restaurants.
