5 September 2024, Geneva – A total of twenty students from China joined the Youth Leadership and Global Challenges Seminar, held at UNITAR headquarters in Geneva.  The seminar was organized by UNITAR in collaboration with Shanghai Creative Twin Cities for the seminar on July 9 and with Curidaosity on July 16 and 19 2024.

The seminars featured interactive sessions, expert lectures and presentations, as well as tours of the Palais des Nations, home of the United Nations Office at Geneva. These activities aimed to empower participants with leadership skills and innovative ideas. The distinguished speakers and hands-on workshops introduced the students to climate change, sustainable development, global health and social innovation.

Participants also experienced Geneva’s cultural heritage, enhancing their understanding of global cooperation.

The Youth Leadership and Global Challenges Seminar, initiated by the UNITAR Division for Prosperity, aims to empower youth by equipping them with knowledge and inspiring action. It provides a unique opportunity to engage with international processes, learn from experts and collaborate on global challenges.
