This course offers the essential principles of the art and craft of speechwriting. The course looks at the three golden principles of speechwriting, before moving on to how to make the content memorable and engaging. It then focuses on honing the participants' writing and editing skills with specific exercises on hooking the audience and crafting media sound bites and quotes. Finally, it examines how to deliver a speech with confidence and conviction.
In addition, this training aims to equip diplomats with the necessary tools to craft compelling speeches that convey their message with clarity, eloquence, and diplomacy.
Effective speech writing empowers diplomats to influence opinions, build alliances, and drive meaningful change. Through this training, the diplomats gained invaluable skills that can enhance diplomatic negotiations, public addresses, and presentations.
