8 July 2024, Beijing, China - On 18 June 2024, UNITAR and Tsinghua University’s School of Journalism and Communication have signed a memorandum of understanding, agreeing to collaborate on initiatives to accelerate sustainable development in Beijing, China. 

This strategic partnership seeks to harness the combined expertise and resources of UNITAR and Tsinghua University to develop innovative educational programmes and foster global cooperation. Key areas of focus include youth development, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), entrepreneurship and leadership empowerment.
