
This capacity-building initiative aims at developing expertise within a core group of Afghan public officials to further facilitate the reconstruction process of Afghanistan. This, the sixth annual Cycle began last April and comprised three week long sessions in Afghanistan, Singapore and Japan and five web-seminars linking participants in Kabul with experts in Hiroshima, Phoenix, Calgary, Singapore and Seattle. With the completion of the sixth Cycle, UNITAR has graduated 185 Fellows since the inception of the programme.
