Fourth edition of the Executive Diploma in Diplomatic Practice - Apply!

Only a few places remain available to participate in UNITAR’s fourth edition of the Executive Diploma in Diplomatic Practice! The programme will take place from September 2018 until August 2019, and only three weeks are left to apply.

Only 5 places remain available to participate in UNITAR’s fourth edition of the Executive Diploma in Diplomatic Practice! The programme will take place from September 2018 until August 2019, and only three weeks are left to apply. In light of the success obtained in previous years, the Executive Diploma will follow a similar model of 10 training workshops, but also include some innovative elements aimed to complement this core component. In fact, whereas the workshops of the upcoming edition will still be the main element, focused on the improvement of diplomatic skills, an important addition to the programme of next year will be a series of seminars concerning thematic elements developed around current and pressing international matters. Moreover, participants will receive individual coaching and assessment prior to as well as during and after the completion of the Executive Diploma. Similarly to previous years, the Executive Diploma remains a highly successful programme which attracts diplomats based in Geneva and other worldwide locations, as well as practitioners working in international organizations, non-governmental agencies and other stakeholders in the international arena. Participants taking part in the programme will undertake a comprehensive training and development of their diplomatic skills, gaining improved command of negotiation skills and techniques, public speaking and leadership skills, along with more technical abilities such as the perfection of their writing skills in multilateral diplomacy or the drafting of UN Resolutions.
