The conference served as a venue to promote a relevant dialogue on sustainability and the roles of the private sector, the academia and the local community as a whole to advance the SDGs.

During the conference, a multi-stakeholder partnership to achieve development goals was discussed to be a priority. Not only public and private sectors are pivotal to solve the most urgent problems in society, but also academic institutions are essential in generating and disseminating knowledge.
