CIFAL Shanghai Concludes Conference on Education to Promote Development

18 October 2018, Shanghai, People’s Republic of China – The International Training Centre for Authorities and Leaders in Shanghai (CIFAL Shanghai) jointly with Shanghai Additive Manufacturing Innovation Center and the Beijing Shangkun Education Group convened the Conference “Education to Promote Development” in Pudong Lingang Industry Park, Shanghai.

The Conference gathered more than 200 participants from the academia and the private sector with the objectives of promoting education as a tool to accelerate development in the Nation, and foster cooperation between academia and the private sector.

Promoting cooperation between schools and companies is an innovative way not only to increase the quality of education and develop a more educated and specialized society in relation to the areas that produce economic and social development in a Nation, but also in preparing students according to the demand in the labour market.

This Conference also seeks to contribute to the promotion of technological development and industry upgrading as students will be equipped with cutting-edge knowledge, making industry more competitive in the international arena.
