27 April 2023, Katowice, Poland – Between April 20 to 26, 2023, the International Training Centre for Authorities and Leaders (CIFAL) in Plock continued its efforts to promote the Autosobriety Training Programme, aimed at preventing drink-driving. The Programme was featured at the Local Career and Professional Development Fair capturing the attention of primarily young individuals who have just finished college and are looking for career advice.
During the four-hour event, around 80 people learned about the programme, using virtual reality glasses and video materials that generated significant interest amongst the participants. They were introduced to the EdApp microlearning course and the overall goal of the Autosobriety Training Programme. The event provided an opportunity for individuals to exchange ideas and connect on how to make positive changes in their lives and communities. Moreover, it opened up potential collaboration avenues with the local police department to increase the programme's reach and promote responsible drinking habits in the wider community. This event's success emphasizes the importance of community engagement and education in promoting responsible drinking habits.
From April 24 to 26, 2023, the training programme was presented during the 15th European Economic Congress in Katowice, Poland. This annual forum brings together political and business leaders from across Europe to discuss the latest economic developments and trends and debate the future of the European and Polish economies.
