来年2023年は、ユニタールにとって特別な年となります。ユニタールが創設されてから60周年、ユニタール広島事務所が設立してから20周年を迎えます。研修の提供や組織強化に一層力を入れ、SDGs達成に貢献して参ります。
※リンク先が英文となっている場合があります。ご了承ください。, 2022年11月22日、東アフリカ地域政府間開発機構事務局は国際連合開発計画(UNDP)・ユニタールと共同で、女性を対象とした起業・金融リテラシーオンライン研修を東アフリカで開始しました。25名の女性起業家がパイロット事業に参加し、5週間のオンライン研修と1週間の地域別対面ワークショップに取り組んでいます。研修を通して、参加者の起業及び金融に関する能力を強化し、参加者が自身でビジネスの機会を見出し、地域課題の解決に貢献することを目指しています。
なお同研修は、2021年にユニタールが実施した、アフリカにおけるジェンダー平等と女性の地位向上プロジェクトにおける、研修ニーズ調査の結果に基づいて作成されました。

2 March 2021, Geneva, Switzerland - The largest ever opinion survey on climate change was carried out by UN CC:Learn partner UNDP in 2020 and showed that 64% of 1.2 million respondents think that climate change is a global emergency. The survey entitled "People's Climate Vote" covered 50 countries, reflecting a bit more than half of the world's population, and its results were analyzed by the University of Oxford. Over 500,000 respondents of the survey were under the age of 18 at the time of the poll, which made youth the biggest age group surveyed.
