2024年8月26日、広島、日本― 国連軍縮部（UNODA）が主導する「ユース非核リーダー基金（YLF: Youth Leader Fund for a World without Nuclear Weapons ）」事業に参加する海外の若者を対象としたスタディツアーが開始しました。スタディツアー参加者は一週間の日程で、被爆地である広島・長崎を訪れ、若者主導のユース国際会議を開催します。 YLF事業は、日本政府の支援の下、国連軍縮部（UNODA）により実施されており、非核兵器国と核兵器保有国の双方から多様な分野にかかわる若者―未来のリーダーが交流し、能力を養い、彼ら・彼女らの声を核軍縮プロセスに反映させることを目指しています。 この日本スタディツアーは、国連訓練調査研究所（ユニタール）広島事務所の支援を受けて、実施されています。世界の若者をヒロシマ・ナガサキの地に招き、核兵器使用の脅威と実相を学ぶ場を提供すると同時に、ヒロシマ・ナガサキの教訓を世界に発信することを目的としています。開会式では、岸田首相がビデオメッセージにより、スタディツアー参加者を歓迎しました。 YLF事業の第一期の研修は、2023年12月に開始され、100人の若者が核軍縮に関する知識とリーダーシップ技能の習得を目的としたオンライン研修に参加しま...
