2021年2月26日・広島 ― 国連ユニタール広島事務所と国連ユニタール協会は、第9回 Ideas That Matterシリーズ「日本のジェンダー感覚-リーダーシップを目指して」の公開セミナーを3月8日に開催します。より良い意思決定、政策立案、法整備などのためには、女性の視点や経験、スキルが欠かせません。持続可能な開発目標(SDGs)の目標5「ジェンダーの平等の実現」の中に、「政治、経済、公共分野でのあらゆるレベルの意思決定において、完全かつ効果的な女性の参画及び平等なリーダーシップの機会を確保する」とあります。
しかしながら、世界経済フォーラム(WEF)が発表した「ジェンダーギャップ指数2020」によると、日本は153か国中121位という結果でした。この不名誉な結果の大きな要因は、政治・経済分野における大臣・管理職レベルの女性割合の低さにあります。
