2021年5月25日・香港／広島 ― 今年度より、国連ユニタール青少年大使プログラムをアジア太平洋地域に拡大して実施することとなりました。国連ユニタールとITS エデュケーションアジア（ITS）の共催で、今年度の国連ユニタール青少年大使・アジア太平洋プログラムは香港で実施いたします。新型コロナウイルスのパンデミックからの「より良い復興」を目指し、高校生たちは10週間の研修で持続可能な開発目標（SDGs）などについて学びます。
「社会が発展するための原動力は若者です。SDGs達成を推し進めていくのは、我々の世代のためではなく、次世代の若者のためです。ITSは、香港、中国とアジア太平洋の若者が国際舞台で活躍するために必要な教育と持続可能な開発を支援しています。ITSの揺るぎない貢献を理解していただき、国連ユニタールに感謝しています」とITS創設者のダニー・ハリントンさんは話します。

After a successful run of an initial online course on “Agriculture in International Trade Agreements” in 2019, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and UNITAR held a rerun of the course in November 2020.
