UNITAR Convenes Workshop for Leadership Development
15-17 May 2018, Geneva, Switzerland – The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) organized a three-day Leadership Workshop at the Palais des Nations. The workshop was part of UNITAR’s online course on Collaborative Leadership and was facilitated by former UN Assistant Secretary-General and Executive Director of UNITAR, Ms. Sally Fegan-Wyles. Keiko Ogura, a hibakusha (survivor of the atomic bomb), spoke to the G7 leaders during the Summit.
She believes coming to Hiroshima gives people the opportunity to reflect and explore what they can do to bring about peace.

Crowd4SDG is a research project promoting citizen science initiatives with a focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Citizen science is a significant resource as it can both produce social innovation to achieve the SDGs and provide non-traditional data to track the progress made towards them.
