UNITAR Division for Prosperity launched its new training programme “Bolstering livelihoods: Digital reskilling for Ukrainian women evacuees in Poland” on 16 October 2023 at an event in Warsaw.
Guests included government officials, programme partners, academic institutions, NGOs and a participant of the new training.
The training programme will run from October 2023 to March 2024. Close to 1000 Ukrainian women evacuees in Poland have applied.
This is the UNITAR Division for Prosperity’s first training programme for Ukrainian evacuees.

17 December 2023, Ankara, Türkiye - the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), in collaboration with the Global Surgery Foundation (GSF), signed a shared Vision Statement with members of the Value-Based Healthcare (VBHC) Expert Working Group in Türkiye.
The VBHC Working Group, which has been working collaboratively with UNITAR and GSF since July 2022, includes representatives from Marmara University’s School of Medicine, Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit University’s School of Medicine, the Turkish Cancer Institute, and the Turkish Ministry of Health.
