On the 28th of June 2010 seven participants from Egi Land in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria attended a five-day intensive training course to develop regional Master Trainers on Micro-Enterprise Acceleration (MAP). Innovative capacity development approach combines technology, mapping and academic knowledge in Chad

Malawi Launches Secondary School Sourcebook on Climate Change
20 October 2015, Lilongwe, Malawi - Last week, during the first ever Climate Week in Malawi, the Minister for Natural Resources, Energy and Mining, H.E. Mr. Bright Msaka launched a new Climate Change Sourcebook for Secondary School Teachers in the presence of the UN Resident Coordinator Ms. Mia Seppo. 2019年9月21日、日本福岡県上毛町―国際平和デーである9月21日に、「広島・長崎爆心地中間点上毛町―未来へつなぐ平和の架け橋事業」平和祈念式典が、地理的に広島と長崎の爆心地の中間点である上毛町にて実施されました。事業を主導した錦織亮雄氏は、自身が被爆者であるとともに広島の復興に貢献してきた建築家であり、グリーン・レガシー・ヒロシマ・イニシアチブ(GLH)で長年コミッティー・メンバーを務めています。当事業では、長崎と広島から送られた被爆樹木を上毛町大池公園の池の両サイドにそれぞれ植樹する取り組みであり、昨年度から始まりました。橋のモニュメントが広島サイドと長崎サイドの真ん中に建てられています。, GLHコミッティー・メンバーの7名とユニタール・スタッフの事務局チームが、植樹式及び平和式典に、九州地方で唯一のGLHパートナーである立命館アジア太平洋大学のファエゼ・マヒチ先生と共に参加しました。植樹式は広島東南ロータリー・クラブが主宰している上毛町の広島・長崎爆心地中間点事業の一部でした。午後からの平和式典では、錦織氏は自身の被爆体験や平和な世界へのビジョンをお話しされました。, この植樹式は錦織氏の平和への取組や視野に感銘を受けたすべての方々―東南ロータリーの皆様、上毛町役場の皆様、GLHの樹木医である堀口力先生といった皆様の献身によって実現...
