In 2014, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) attacked and took control of Mosul which led to the destruction of Central Library.

The year 2023 was a very special and exciting one for the UNITAR Division for Prosperity, as we celebrated not only the 60th anniversary of UNITAR but also the 20th of the Hiroshima Office, which is a part of the Division for Prosperity. 政府関係者、教育機関関係者、NGO、研修参加者の代表らが開会式に参加しました。
2023年10月から2024年3月まで実施される同研修プログラムには、ポーランド在住の約500名 のウクライナ避難民女性が参加する予定です。
ユニタール持続可能な繁栄局にとってウクライナ避難民を対象とした初の研修となります。
