Raising awareness of the dangers of drink-driving

Content and Structure

Workshop conducted by the coordinator of AESLEME in Malaga, Sergio Hijano. The event consisted of an awareness talk with real testimonies of people who have suffered a road accident, telling in first person their experience.

Methodology

During these sessions, our aim is to inform local police officers about the number of deaths that occur each year on the road due to alcohol consumption, in order to make them aware of the dangers of doing so. This was followed by the screening of the DIAGEO project video, The Wrong Side Of The Road, and concluded with a discussion with the police officers to share opinions and experiences.
