Background

School of Politics program organized by Bahçeşehir University International Leadership Practice and Research Center (ULMER) and Government&Leadership School. The School of Politics, which has hosted many people who constitute the decision and opinion mechanism of the country's administration, such as presidents, prime ministers, ministers, ambassadors, deputies, opinion leaders and doyen academics, has exceeded its own bar every academic year with the support of its valuable guests and the interest of its participants.

Event objectives

The purpose of the School of Politics program is to equip today's and tomorrow's leading candidates with objective information and data in order to adapt to the changing profile of politics and politicians in the globalizing world.

Content and Structure

Examining the Fundamental Concepts of Political Science, Economics and Politics, Factors Influencing Policy Making Processes, The Concept of Security and Elements of International Equilibrium, Turkey's Relations with Near Geography, Turkey-US Relations on the Axis of Security, Turkey's Relations with the Middle East and Africa

Learning objectives

In the program, Turkey's important events and periods from past to present are not only theoretical, cause-effect relationships of events are conveyed by politicians, academics, diplomats, economists, scientists and businessmen who were directly involved in the actions. Moreover, in the School of Politics, which is a long-term program, many important issues concerning Turkey and the world are evaluated on the axis of events and processes from past to present.
