Awareness raising on the Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals.
The SDG Lecture is a basic or more advanced training for participants willing to learn more about the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Promote the UN declarations, principles, and guidelines with a focus on local capacity building for Habitat III, COP21, Business & Human Rights, Agenda 2030, and the Sustainable Development Goals.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the themes covered by the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the translation of the global Agenda to local actors.
- Recognise the link between sustainable development, corporate good governance (business ethics) and human rights.
- Acknowledge the responsibility of organisations to act for sustainable development, as well as the opportunities working with the SDGs bring along (business case)
Series of lectures held on different dates between January and December of 2022, in several cities in Belgium, and in different delivery modalities (virtual, face-to-face, or blended).
- Introduction to Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals.
- SDG Circle Tool to understand the Agenda 2030 framework.
Action-Learning Methodology: learning activities include, among others, an interactive lecture and self-assessment exercises.
