Summary
CIFAL Dakar was established in January 2019 in collaboration with the Municipality of Dakar with the objective of strengthening the capacities of government authorities, private sector representatives and civil society leaders in the areas of urban governance and planning, capacity for Agenda 2030, and social Inclusion.
CIFAL Dakar serves as a hub for Senegal and West Africa, specially Francophone countries in Africa not only to exchange best practices but also to promote collaboration among key stakeholders for the implementation of the 2030 agenda for sustainable development at the local level.

CIFAL Dakar Director
Mr. Mouhamed Diop
Mr Mouhamed Diop is a graduate of the "Centre Africain d'Etudes Supérieures en Gestion". He works in Senegal and abroad to facilitate and support change in human resources management and training policies and practices in line with organisational strategies, particularly in public administration and local authorities.
Mr. Diop has gained experience as Director of the "Centre de Formation Professionnelle et de Perfectionnement du personnel Municipal de la ville de Dakar" and Director of the the Municipal Institute of Healthcare Professionals. He teaches training engineering and management at CESAG.
