CIFAL Banjul, hosted by the University of The Gambia (UTG) was inaugurated in 2023 and offers diverse learning opportunities. It serves as a platform for knowledge exchange in the African Region, aiming to enhance capabilities, refine decision-making processes, and promote sustainable development.

The activities of CIFAL Banjul will focus on the following Gambia priorities and thematic areas:

• Challenges and opportunities of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA)
• Circular Economy and Waste Management
