4 September 2023, Geneva, Switzerland – UNITAR and the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH), have strengthened their existing partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This MoU solidifies our commitment to collaborate and cooperate with the goal to make a positive impact on access to plasma-derived therapies worldwide.
Recognizing the indispensable role that plasma-derived therapies have played in improving the lives of patients with hemophilia, this MoU is a milestone in fortifying and expanding our existing collaboration. Our shared mission envisions to promote cooperation through different means, such as knowledge sharing, innovative education, training, capacity-building solutions, and raising awareness to improve access to plasma-derived therapies.
Through this initiative, UNITAR and the WFH aspire to make significant advancements in healthcare and capacity-building initiatives. The partnership's collective efforts will lead to tangible and sustainable impacts, benefitting communities worldwide.
