New e-course on Introduction to the UN System (23 May - 3 July 2016)

2 May 2016, Geneva, Switzerland. Representatives of governments and from other actors such as international and non-governmental organizations must be able to understand and often work with United Nations agencies in order to achieve their objectives and advance their interests. As an increasingly globalized world continues to underline the importance of multilateral dialogue and cooperation in confronting this century’s challenges, the UN will remain a central forum for progressing ideas and a platform for action.

In order to equip those professionals with the necessary working knowledge, UNITAR’s Multilateral Diplomacy Programme (MDP) will relaunch its online course on Introduction the United Nations System. The next session of the course will take place from 23 May to 3 July 2016.

The course is open to those working in the public or private sector, including entry and mid-level career diplomats, other public-service officials, postgraduate students, and staff from nongovernmental organizations, especially those whose work or studies is linked to the United Nations.  Private sector specialists and students whose work or studies are related to this subject are also encouraged to apply.

Register for the online course on Introduction to the United Nations System. Should you wish to receive further information regarding the course, please do not hesitate to contact: mdp-elearning@unitar.org.
