UN SDG:Learn is very glad to announce the launching of the Second Series of the UNSDGLearn Blog, "SMEs and the Implementation of the SDGs".

This Series will shine a light on Small and Mediums Enterprises (SMEs), their realities and the challenges they face as well as their philosophies, level of involvement and opportunities in regards to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The first contribution "Why SMEs face particular challenges and why it is a particular challenge to support SMEs", written by Robert Marinkovic from the International Organization of Employers (IOE) is already available for readers here.

In his Blog, the author illustrates the significance of SMEs to the world economy and opposes that to their vulnerability when disruptions occurs. Improving the environment SMEs are operating in is essential and will allow them to strengthen their resilience as well as adopt more sustainable frameworks and processes.

Stay tuned to read more of the captivating reflections this Series' contributors will offer!
